In Hip Hop History Today: Ja Rule released his debut album Venni Vetti Vecci June 1, 1999

Venni Vetti Vecci is the debut studio album by hip hop recording artist Ja Rule. It was released on June 1, 1999, by Murder Inc. Records and Def Jam. The album title alludes to the Latin phrase “veni, vidi, vici”, meaning “I came, I saw, I conquered”. The album was also the first release on Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc. Records imprint.
